Ten House Rules That I Didn’t Know Existed Until Recently
We all have House Rules that are necessary if you are going to live with other people. For example, in our house my Oreo cookies are not to be touched without written consent and two forms of ID. Since Haley came along, I've become aware of a number of rules that are not explicitly stated, but apparently need to be.
- No jumping on the bed with a full bowl of blueberries.
- Popsicles must be eaten 100 yards away from anything that will stain.
- The VCR is not a toaster.
- No visiting daddy when he is “going potty”.
- Washing your hands in the dog dish doesn’t count.
- Put the cup of juice down before doing a somersault.
- Crayola markers are only to be used on paper.
- The cat doesn’t like to be “hugged”.
- Don’t put your cheese on the ground.
- Raisins are not to be hidden around the house for later consumption.
