Cinderella may win after all
Despite all our voting, toddlers get the ultimate decision, and Cinderella may win anyway if popularity has anything to do with it. I tried having her watch Snow White, but although she liked the animals, she repeatedly said "I don't like Snow White." We'll just have to see what happens on Halloween...
The Cinderella DVD is a frequent demand, and now she is included in our pretend play. Yesterday, I was spreading out mulch in our future flower beds, and Haley kept finding sticks to play with. At one point, the stick became her "magic wand" just like Cinderella's "mommy" (her fairy godmother). So we spent the next few minutes singing Bippity Boppity Boo, and imagining what magic she would do with her wand. Unfortunately for me, Haley didn't want to change my work clothes into a beautiful ball gown, and despite my suggestion, she refused to have the mulch magically spread itself out without my continued effort. Sigh...
