Goodnight Everybody...

Nicole and I put Haley down to sleep at the regular time of 8pm last night. Relaxing after a hard day (even though its was Sunday, we're both putting some serious effort into several home improvement projects), we sat down to watch some TV. At about 9pm, the baby monitor crackles to life with the sound of movement in Haley's room. Not a big deal, as she often moves around in her sleep. But then this little voice says, "Goodnight, Daddeeee". Nicole and I look at each other and start laughing. This is followed by "Goodnight, Mommeeee", then "Goodnight, Haley". Silence. "Goodnight, Cookie [Monster]. Goodnight, [Winnie the] Pooh." Silence. "Goodnight, Everybodeeee." Silence. Then she started at the top and made her way through the list again. This went on for the better part of 15 minutes. Then she finally settled down to sleep. Goodnight, Haley.
