Don't Fall!
Haley likes being a "big girl". She refuses to use a booster-seat at home or at restaurants, and instead prefers to sit in the "big girl chair" like all the adults. We don't have a problem with this because a) she's pretty good at not making too big a mess, and b) she usually sits properly. Lately however, she has taken to squirming in her seat the way all kids her age do. This has prompted Nicole and I to tell her to "sit down nicely" and "be careful". (So much for not sounding like our parents.) We also caution her, "Don't fall off." She has apparently taken this to mean that ANYTIME you are seated in a chair, you are in danger of falling off. So now when we're all seated, she warns us, "Don't fall off." The funniest example of this is when we're seated in the car with our seatbelts on. "Don't fall off, Daddy!" Ok, Sweetie. I'll try not to.
