You be right back?

Haley knows the rules pretty well, and she is now beginning to work her way around them. We were standing near Mommy's dresser, on top of which are things Haley can touch, and other things she is not allowed to touch. Haley suggests that I leave the room with a coy "Mommy be right back?" - I am curious enough that I take her suggestion and go into the hallway. Sure enough, I pop back in the room and Haley has grabbed a glass box on my dresser that she's not allowed to touch. When she sees that I've returned, she makes a very comical "caught red-handed" face - eyes open wide and mouth in a perfect "O". I would have scolded her except I was laughing too hard!
