Let it snow...

If you've seen the weather reports for our area, you know we've experienced a blizzard these past 2 days. Not to worry - we're all fine. We dug ourselves out of our courtyard today, so we can even get out if we so desire. Yesterday was fun - a true snow day. Bill stayed home from work and we made our gingerbread house, played cashier (a new fascination for Haley), and made soup. Today we're all feeling a little stir crazy, but the chili is on the stove, and bread is baking in the oven - a great day for slow-cooking recipes! I think we'll finally venture out of the house tomorrow and get some last minute Christmas shopping done!
