Haley And Zoe's Web

Hello and welcome to Haley and Zoe's Web! For the uninitiated, this is a weblog (more commonly known as a "blog"), which is an online journal that is available for anyone to read. Haley and Zoe are growing up so fast that we wanted a way for all of you to keep up with their day-to-day advances. So pull up a chair and brace yourself for the cuteness to follow.

Internalizing our advice...

Haley remembers well what we tell her not to do. She doesn't always follow the advice, but she definitely remembers. When we tell her not to put something in her mouth ("Not in your mouth!") she removes it. The next time she sees that particular object, she says "Not in mouth" - that's right, Haley, not in your mouth. Sometimes, though, I'll catch her with it in her mouth and before I can say anything, she takes it out and says "Not in mouth."

In a related story, she's had a bit of a cold this week, so when she sneezes, she invariably dribbles snot under her nose. Unlike most kids, she hates this and wants a tissue immediately. She used to either ask for a tissue, or say "uh oh, boogers." Bill caught her trying to lick above her lip on one of these occasions and he told her not to eat the boogers. So now when she sneezes, she tells us very seriously, "Don't eat boogers."
