Italian grandmother?
As you can see from the previous post, Haley has a bit of a maternal instinct, which translates into being a very good hostess. I babysat her friend Caspian last week and she made sure he didn't go hungry. Haley was in the middle of her afternoon grazing period when he arrived (otherwise known as lunch). She eats a little, plays a little, eats a little, etc. Everytime she got some food, she would offer him some. "Cas, you want grape? Cas, you want more grape? Cas, you want quesa-dada? (quesadilla) Cas, you want cacka (cracker)?" Over and over. I don't know where she got the Italian grandmother gene, but she was so persistent in her efforts to feed him that his mom was shocked to hear how much he ate while he was here!
