I never claimed to be graceful, so I'm sure no one will be surprised to hear that I fell down the stairs on Sunday afternoon. Blame my tendency to avoid multiple trips carrying things up and down flights of stairs. Anyway, after thumping down 4-5 steps and bruising my tailbone, understandably I was in a little pain. So Bill took over parenting that day and I laid down on the couch with a double dose of Advil. To explain to Haley why I wasn't playing with her on the floor, Bill told her that Mommy had an owie. She came over to me immediately asking "Are you okay?" with a lot of concern in her voice. And then she spent the rest of the afternoon bringing me things. "You want juice? You want raisin?
