Zoe's 1st Day of Preschool

Well, it's official - my babies have grown up. Zoe started preschool today, and she ran in without a backward glance at Mom. I guess I should feel proud that I've raised some strong, independent young girls, but part of me wished she would cling a little harder to the babyhood she is leaving behind.

I held myself together, only getting teary and sentimental instead of outright bawling. I've looked forward to time to myself all summer, and now that I have it, I don't know what to do with myself for the next 2 hours! I'm sure I'll get used to it, but for now, I guess I'll just work on her photos so I feel closer to her while she's away.
