Precursor To Studying?

Nicole found a great book for Haley. It has a number of tracing games to encourage kids to learn how to hold a pen/pencil and to draw straight lines and recognizable shapes. The next series of books makes the logical leap to letters and numbers. Haley loves it. A few fun things to notice about this picture - as if there was any doubt remaining, she is a lefty. Also, note that she has enlisted the help of her stuffed toy kitten for some of the harder shapes. I just love the studious look on her face. Shes really working hard a getting those lines just right.
